The purpose of this ministry is the equip the believer for service unto God and God’s people. The E-Team Leader and a Ministry Resource Director work in conjunction with every ministry in the department to guide and assist in the smooth execution of equipping believers to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Associate Ministers educate and train individuals called to the gifted areas of five-fold ministry (apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher) for the building up of the Body of Christ.
Ministry of Acts
The primary purpose of the Ministry of Acts is to equip the members of the body to understand and utilize the Gifts of the Spirit for kingdom living.
The Prayer Ministry is dedicated to seeking God continually on behalf of the church’s members, ministries of the church, the community and its leaders and those separated from God. The Prayer Ministry is aligned with the vision and mission of Mount Zion believing God for unity among the believer and praying for all people to Grow at the Kingdom Level. The Prayer Ministry serves as a facilitator for inviting prayer within the body of Christ.
Continuing Education Ministry
The Continuing Education Ministry (CEM) expands the selection of academic resources offered by Mount Zion Baptist Church. Seven or more one-hour classes are available during each quarter. CEM is designed to impart knowledge that Christian principles can be used in employment and in an instructional setting. The overall goal is to build self-confidence within the current environment.
The Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and Brownies have been established as alternative environments for the community, with their basic foundations centering on Christian principles. Each group is committed to equipping, encouraging, and enabling young boys and girls ranging from 6-18 years of age.
The Historical Ministry mission is to collect, maintain, and preserve all historical records, documents, and photographs of the church to display to current and future generations.
