ARE YOU READY TO VOTE?
STEP 1. If you have not voted in the last 2 Federal Elections, your name may have been PURGED from the NC voter rolls.
Find your name on the Board of Elections website: https://vt.ncsbe.gov/RegLkup If you are listed as “Inactive” or your “name has been removed”, call Board of Elections at 336-641-3836.
STEP 2. A Voter ID is required to vote in person or by mail. https://www.ncsbe.gov/voting/voter-id Check to see if you have a valid ID to vote.
STEP 3. If you need to vote by Absentee Ballot, download the request form as soon as possible.

After receiving your ballot, the completed absentee ballot must be returned to the Board of Election by mail or in person prior to 11/5 at 7:30 pm.
STEP 4. The last day to register to vote is Oct. 11. If you forgot, you can Register and Vote at the same time during Early Voting. Early voting begins on 10/17 and ends on 11/2 at 3:00pm.
STEP 5. Share this information. Reach out to your social media networks, organizations, friends, and familyto make sure they are ready to vote.

• Vote during Early Voting so you can correct any voting problems.
• Vote up and down the entire ballot. All contests are important.
IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION IN NORTH CAROLINA
9/06/24 – Absentee ballot by mail voting begins.
10/11/24 – Voter registration ends at 5:00 pm. If missed, Register & Vote during Early Voting.
10/17/24 – Early Voting begins.
10/29/24 – Last day to request absentee ballot.
11/02/24 – Early Voting ends at 3:00pm
11/05/24 – Absentee ballot must be received by mail or in person by 7:30pm.
11/05/24 – General Election Voting at your precinct – 6:30am-7:30pm.
