Bishop Bryan J. Pierce, Sr., a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, brings over 45 years of dedicated preaching ministry. His passion is to empower and equip today’s leaders with the tools needed for tomorrow. Currently serving as the lead pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church, he oversees its 3 thriving campuses in Greensboro, Raleigh-Durham, and the Charlotte Metro areas.
Under his leadership the church has seen growth, expansion, debt elimination, and impactful community outreach initiatives.
Beyond his pastoral duties, Bishop Pierce serves on the Council of Bishops in the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, International and 1st Assistant to 2nd Presiding Bishop Darryl Brister.
He holds an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies and a Bachelor of Divinity degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary.
Bishop Pierce’s life is dedicated to fulfilling God’s mission, supported by his extensive education, ministry experience, and steadfast commitment to his faith and family. He is married to Debra A. Pierce, and together they are blessed with four children and nine grandchildren.
