The Fun Fourth Festival has been presented annually since 1975 as a
community celebration of Independence Day for Guilford County and the Piedmont Triad.
In 2014, the Street Festival will be moving back to its roots
in the Historic District of Downtown Greensboro
The Freedom Run & Walk begins and ends at the Greensboro Marriott Downtown and the Fireworks Finale will continue at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex.

Over 90,000 people will attend Fun Fourth events this year, including the Freedom Run, the Kickoff Block Party, the Parade and Street Festival, as well as the Pops Concert and Fun Fourth Fireworks Finale. More than 100 organizations sponsor the events and over 12,000 volunteer hours of assistance are donated.

Mount Zion is one of many non-profit agencies that focuses on charitable and educational activities which foster interest in local history and events in Guilford County.
