Drug Take-Back

We are partnering with the Greensboro Police Department, United Healthcare, Walgreens and Triad Adult and Pediatric Medicine to host Greensboro's Drug Take-Back Day. This day provides a safe, easy way to dispose of prescription drugs, while educating the local community about the potential for misuse and abuse. This event will be held on Saturday, September 9 from 9am -12pm in the Walgreens parking lot on West Market Street.

Scouts Canned Goods Take Up


The Mount Zion Girl Scouts is are earning their Silver Award and need your help! Please bring in canned goods on September 11th & 18th and drop them off in the main lobby. Let’s support our Girl Scouts as well as the hungry in Guilford County

Man Cave Monday

Men of Mount Zion! Bishop Pierce is hosting MAN CAVE MONDAY on Monday, September 11th!! Join Bishop Pierce and the Men of Valor over food, fellowship and FOOTBALL! That's right, the men will come together to watch the first part of the double-hitter where the  Saints will take on the Vikings! Registration ends Wednesday, September 6th. Registration is closed.

North Carolina Full Gospel Conference

Get ready, get ready!! The North Carolina Full Gospel Baptist Church State Conference is coming to Greensboro on September 14-15 at The Cedar Grove Tabernacle of Praise. Guest speakers Bishop Bryan J. Pierce on Thursday night, Bishop Luther Brooks on Friday night and Pastor Deon Clark on Saturday morning. Registration is required.

Seniors, do you have a hidden talent that you’d like to share with us? Well here’s your chance! The senior adult ministry is hosting another talent show. Join us on September 16th in the chapel at 3pm. All ages are welcome to attend this free event and no registration is needed. Fall Pack-a-Thon

On Saturday, September 30th, Feed the Hunger & Mount Zion are partnering for another Pack-A-Thon in the Fellowship Hall from 8:30am-12:00pm. A Pack-a-thon is a food packing event in which participants produce thousands of nutritious meals that will be distributed to children and families in need, both in America and internationally. AGGIE PRIDE! The Greatest Homecoming on Earth is back and Mount Zion is welcoming Alumni and friends with a special treat! Mount Zion will be teaming up with the A&T Alumni Association to bring ONE exceptional service to you. On October 8, All Mount Zion services will be relocated to the Sheraton Hotel. There will be ONE 9:00 a.m. Alumni Affirmation Service & Worship Experience. Whether you are alumni or not, you don’t want to miss out on the empowering Word from Bishop Bryan J. Next Generation

Support our very own Samuel Misher in the opening of Next Generation Academy. To learn more about this free charter school, tours are available at The World Victory International Christian Center. Open houses are scheduled October 12, and 19th from 5:30-7:30. To find additional information visit the academy’s website. Celebration of Life

Join us October 14th at 10am in the Chapel for the Celebration of Life service. This is a memorial service for Mount Zion members and/or family of members who have gone home to be with the Lord. Come out and get encouraged.

Deaf Awareness Month

There is nothing wrong with the sound.  This is what the deaf community experiences during a worship service.  October 22nd is Deaf Awareness Sunday during Teamgelism month and the deaf ministry needs your help in inviting someone to church.  You may not personally know someone who is deaf, but maybe you know someone who knows someone who is, and in need of salvation or where they can worship and get an awesome Word of God.  Again thats Sunday October 22nd, invite them and let God and the deaf ministry do the rest.

Caregiver connect invites you to friends against fraud. This new initiative educates seniors about fraud and scams, how to prevent victimization and how to help a victim connect with local resources. Hallelujah Night, The Glow Up!!! Jump right into all the fun!! October 31 at Sky Zone Trampoline Park. This is a few event but you must register. All children 2 -18 are welcome!

5k Run/Walk

Join us for the Killing Goliath 5K Run/Walk Race on November 4, 2017 at Hester Park (3615 Deutzia Street, Greensboro, NC 27407) beginning at 9:00am. The Killing Goliath 5K Run/Walk Race is a unique 5K thats focused less on speed but more on "Killing Your Personal Goliath". THIS IS A RACE FOR EVERYONE. All Participants ARE WELCOME.

REGISTRATION WILL BE $35 ONSITE.

Potato and a Play

Caregiver Connect Inc. presents--Potato & A Play! In honor of National Family Caregiver month, Caregiver Connect, Inc.  and GDavis Productions present Jessie & Lucy, a comedic play set in the 60's with old school music. This event will take place Friday, November 10, 2017, in the Chapel. A $15 ticket includes general admission and a meal. Potato Bar opens at 6pm, play starts at 7pm. You can purchase your ticket at any eNGAGE Center. All proceeds will benefit Caregiver Connect, Inc.

Step 2 of our Growth Track (New Members Orientation) will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Chapel. Registration and continental breakfast will begin at 8:30 am. Completion of the New Members Orientation session is a requirement for membership at Mount Zion that ideally should follow receiving Salvation and being water baptized. New Members Orientation is intended for those who are new to the church as well as those who have been attending the church but have not attended the class. Classes will be offered for children, youth and adults. We ask that you please pre-register.

Serve The City w/ Coach Lynch Hunt

We are Serving the City by collecting donations for Davidson Correctional Center! Bring your donation items with you to church starting on Sundays. You can also drop off your items on Mondays from 11am-1pm then again from 4:30pm to 6:30pm Let’s be the hands and feet of Jesus!

Items: Toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, body wash, socks, all kinds of snacks, reading materials, Chapstick and other products.

Mount Zion Charlotte Metro Pop-up Worship Experience

Mount Zion is Popping up again! Bishop Pierce invites you to attend the Charlotte Metro Pop-Up happening Saturday, May 21st at 5pm. This Pop-Up will take place at Winkler Middle School located at 4501 Weddington Rd, Concord, NC.
