First Lady Debra A. Pierce

First Lady Debra A. Pierce, a native of Buffalo, New York is known for her cheerful spirit, servant’s heart, and genuine love for people. As a licensed minister and devoted leader, she understands that living a righteous life means seeking God through the Word, prayer, praise, and worship. She currently serves as the First Lady of Mount Zion Baptist Church, where she works faithfully alongside her husband, Senior Pastor Bishop Bryan J. Pierce, Sr., across the church’s three campuses in Greensboro, Raleigh-Durham, and the Charlotte areas.

In addition to her role as First Lady, Pastor Debra Pierce serves on the Pastoral staff as Pastor of the Encouragement ministry, overseeing several ministries such as Singles, Senior Adults, Biblical Counseling, Daughters of Destiny, Men of Valor and along with her husband, the Marriage Ministry.

Beyond her pastoral responsibilities, she holds an Associate’s Degree in Religion and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Religion. First Lady Debra is grateful to God for blessing her to be a helpmeet to her husband who is also her mentor. Under his tutelage, she has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Her life is anchored in the belief that her husband and family are her first ministry. First Lady and Bishop Pierce are the proud parents of four children and the grandparents of nine grandchildren.
